Robin Boehler / Head of School
My name is Mrs. Robin Boehler, and I serve as the Oaks Head of School. I am a native to Summerville and live nearby in my family home with my husband of 33 years, Bobby, who is owner/operator of Bellwether Inspections, a home inspection company. Since he works out of our home, he is an amazing home manager— he manages to get me out of the house each morning with breakfast and lunch, and welcomes me home in the afternoon with a deliciously prepared dinner, and while in my absence during the day he manages the rest of the home which often includes taking care of our granddaughter. We have one son, Cason who is married to our lovely daughter-in-law, Elise and they are parents to my precious granddaughter, Ava. I praise God that, for now, they live locally so we are able to see and be with them often. I enjoy hosting casual family gatherings, sewing, reading, and most of all, being a grandmother. I recently retired from Dorchester District Two with 33 years of service in the public school system; during that time I served in many different classroom settings— special education, gifted & talented, regular education, and family literacy. With the Lord’s guidance, I am confident my educational experiences will support and benefit the work He has tasked me with as Headmistress. It has been clear that the Lord orchestrated this move to the Oaks Christian School and continues to lead me through the transition. I became a believer at a young age and have been a member of Crossroads Community Church for more than 20 years where I serve on the Worship Team. Throughout my life and career, I have seen the success of being part of a team, united in purpose and goal. I approach this position as being a part of a team that is designed and desires to grow young boys, girls, men, and women spiritually and academically; with God at the helm of the team, I promise to work alongside parents, teachers, and staff members, as well as the members of the OCS school board and elders of Crossroads Community Church to accomplish this awesome task. I am honored to be serving as the Headmistress and look forward to serving the students, families, and staff of the Oaks Christian School.
